Do you drop in a 2-inch HydraSleeve in a 2-inch well and recover it immediately?  If so, we would like to hear from you.

It has come to our attention that some HydraSleeve users do not allow their wells to equilibrate after deployment.  Or if they do, it is only for a few moments before retrieving the sleeves and collecting their samples.  It would be greatly helpful for us to know how this works for you.  How does your data compare?

Well equilibration time was established from passive diffusion bag research.  Based on displacement and shape, we strongly suspect that using a standard 2-inch, bottom-weighted, HydraSleeve in a 2-inch well does not require an equilibration period.  Although we have tested and proved this in 4-inch diameter wells; 2-inch wells are too narrow to permit side-by-side comparisons in the well.  Additionally the small ID precludes using well instrumentation during sample collection.  So, any comparative information you might have would be extremely helpful.

In connection with the above-mentioned new items we may also develop a specific HydraSleeve exactly for this purpose.  If we could get some feedback on this application we would know if development of an immediate-retrieval HydraSleeve would be useful to our customers.
